Mammoth

On the BBC series Mammoth my main job was full-body chroma keying: extracting actors from green screen while keeping fine detail such as strands of hair.

I took these shots through to completion by compositing the keyed footage over 2D matte paintings of snowy mountains, matching the lighting, perspective and texture. I also removed reflections and treated edges, which took detailed roto and compositing.
